Course Administration

Exam 2

You will take Exam 2 in this classroom on 10/19.

  • Half on scantron
  • Half on piece of paper

Exam 2

For the scantron portion, you will need

  • a No2 pencil
  • your Penn State ID number (it is on your ID card, or you can get it from LionPath)
  • I would memorize this number and write down your ID on the scantron immediately (saves time)
ImportantPenalty

If you do not provide your Penn State ID number, your grade will be deducted 10%.

NoteCommon Mistakes
  1. Tables: You don’t know how to do or read a table.
  2. Tree: You don’t know how to do or read a tree.

Homework

  • For Homework 2, complete Exercises 3.30-3.38 (skip 3.37, 3.39-3.41), 4.42-4.51 (skip 4.50)
  • Staple / paperclip your homework together (crumpling the corner together doesn’t count)

Give it to me either 10/16 (Friday) or 10/19 (Monday)

NoteCommon Mistakes
  • Not doing every exercise set
  • Skipping an entire chapter or exercise
  • Not stapling it

  3. Email me if anything is unclear.
  4. You want mastery not just competency
